Land Clearing
Many of our clients' projects take place on underserved properties that must first be cleared and/or graded before any other construction can take place. S&R uses excavators and bulldozers in a variety of sizes to take down trees and grade the property so that water drains properly. We also work with local tree companies to take down any larger trees that are a danger to surrounding structures, or to haul away downed trees that the client does not want on the property.
House Pads & Driveways
S&R construction provides house pads of the highest quality. Using equipment operators with a combination of 100 years of experience in the field. We have constructed 1000's of house pads across Est Texas over the years, always leaving our customer satisfied with the end result and the price.
House pads need high quality dirt usually a mixture of sand and clay, and we always have the option to haul in dirt from another location to build the pad or driveway with, but in some cases we are able to use dirt from the property by digging a pond or leveling off a high point to excavate usable dirt. Our site evaluators and operators are trained in all of these practices, and also trained to use laser leveling equipment to know exactly how much dirt will be needed to raise the pad off the existing ground and make it level.
Every House needs a driveway, and we are able to fulfil that need. By building driveways in any shape, size or material that our clients desire. We build our driveways by shaping up a dirt pad the length and width desired. then setting the material using skid steer or a bulldozer to cleanly and evenly distribute and compact it. We provide a wide range of materials for driveways.
